1. Round About the Nations Capital - April 1956 (34"x29") This military map covers Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. It is filled with notes on famous battle sites of the civil war. These notes also contain info on famous figures during this time plus other interesting sites. A must have civil war map for anyone interested in this War.

2. Battlefields of the Civil War - April 1961 (25"x19")
Side A:
This civil war map covers an area from Pennsylvania to Missouri to Louisiana to Florida. It is jam packed with notes on the battles and strategies that happened during the Civil War. On the bottom right is an inset showing the major offensives of both the Union and Confederate soldiers.

3. Cockpit of the Civil War - April 1961 (25"x19")
Side B:
This side is broken into two haves. The left side is divided into inset maps titled War in the Southwest, Vicksburg campaign, Battles for Atlanta, Memphis to Huntsville and Nashville to Atlanta. On the right is one large inset map titled Cockpit of Civil War along with smaller insets titled Grant at Richmond, Gettysburg, Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter 1861. All these insets are filled with historical notes on the civil war.

4. Historical Map of the United States - June 1953 (41"x26.5") This is a huge map of the whole United States but still has lots of notes on the Civil War if you look in the areas of the map where the battles of the Civil War were held. There are also two inset maps with notes on the Civil War.

5. National Parks Monuments and Shrines of the United States and Canada - May 1958 (25"x19") This map is filled with the locations of military parks, monuments and battlefield sites including those of the Civil War.

6. Battles of the Civil War - April 2005 (31"x20")
Side A:
This side is filled with a physical map of the Southeastern United States filled with information on the battles of the civil war. The map is color coded to show confederate states, Union states and Union Slave states. You will find major land battles, major naval battles. other land battles of decisive, major and limited impact and naval battles. There is an inset showing the Battle for the Capitals and insets showing Major Turning Points of the War. There is a huge table across the bottom of the map showing the number of causalities of all the battles shown on the map.

6. A Nation Transformed by Civil War - April 2005 (31"x20")
Side B:
This side of the map uses pictures, illustrations and lots of notes to show how the Civil War effected every corner of the United States. Over four million slaves were free after the war and more than 620,000 soldiers died in the struggle. Many new laws were made after the war dealing with civil rights and the war spurred industrialization and advances in medicine, led to the nation's first draft and a Federal Income tax. But a lot of healing had to happen after the war. Insets along the bottom have titles like War Machine, Shattered Lives, Freedom Fighters and Home Front.
